Leasebrook is a commercial real estate owner in the plainest sense: we buy, hold and operate commercial buildings for our own account. We do not manage property for other owners, and we do not hand our own buildings to an outside management company. The people who own the building are the people who run it.
We own no residential property. Apartments, condominiums and single-family rentals are a different business with different tenants, leases, systems and capital cycles, and we have kept the portfolio entirely commercial so that everything we do, from staffing to vendor relationships, is built around commercial buildings.
Office and retail at the core
The portfolio is concentrated in two asset types: multi-tenant office buildings and neighborhood retail strip centers. They are where we have the deepest operating experience, and they set the standard for every other property we hold.
Other commercial property
Beyond office and retail, the portfolio includes other commercial property types, and we continue to acquire commercial buildings of every kind where the real estate makes sense. The pages below describe how each type of property is operated once it is ours.
